If the States attack Iran, can someone foresee what would be the chain reaction of events, which would directly lead to WW III? For instance, US attacks Iran; Iran launches missiles on Israel; Israel retaliates and its rockets hit Kuwait by mistake; the Persian Gulf countries (primarily Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman) launch an attack on Israel, Turkey - a member of NATO - allows the US to launch attacks on Iran from its soil, and Iran attacks Turkey. Other NATO members come in aid, and Bulgaria, Romania, Greece launch attacks by air on Iran too. Iran - in defence - attacks the European countries, and the WW III breaks out (there could also be scenarios of North Korea and India x Pakistan's "nuclear" behaviour towards the States [NK case] or each other [Indian Pakistan case]).
Can anyone suggest other plausible scenarios?

Israel can't even make precise attacks on the targets INSIDE it's own borders (and by that I mean Palestine). It's enough if you read news reports where Israeli military says it had hit a wrong target in Gaza or West Bank. Or take a look at this July 30, 2006 CNN report, where the Isralie attack killing dozens of civilians in Lebanon called a 'mistake' (the attack on Qana demolished a four-story residential building used as a shelter by Lebanese refugees. The dead included 37 children). So what do you say to that, smart boy, huh? Now you aren't as smart as before, are you!?

It has to be remembered that even the west admits that the fossile energy runs out and we all are after alternative energy. For the past 27 yeras a ban has been in place where usa has not sold passenger planes to Iran. Iranians have trvellred on very old planes and it is a shame that people suffer because a country holds on to a technology. Well please look at it from my point of view.An Iranain why do you assume i should be less proud that any of you? look at my culture and your own!! Mine is not inferior! Why some nations are trying to twist the truth. we all know that the neo conservatives in the west have forced their agenda and Iran though has mastered the nuclear tehnology is not afetr any negative move. Iran should be independant and should be allowed to develop energy for the future like others. There are cameras installed in all the installations in Iran and everyone really knows that all this noise is for monopoly of power by the selfish powers. You must remember if you are Iranian you are just as proud and American about your country!! Why shouldnt they!! It is about time that the Americans realised our earth is in danger and American way of life should be up for negociation ie stop running big cars and start saving energy so our polar bears can live longer.Or you call them as Iranian as well. What is your excuse for not signing the kyoto agrement, oslo cluster bombs agreement and land mines. the list is so long and getting longer stop being so selfish!!

It's only an interesting question if you enjoy death and destruction on a grand scale and have no idea how that will affect you. In any case, it's hard to think of such a scenario as they are all preposterous. Take yours for example. Anybody but Israel would hit the wrong country by mistake. No arab country needs an excuse like that to attack Israel. NATO countries are not coming to anyone's aid, as we can see today.
There are some more plausible, limited chain reaction events I can think of, but I don't want to fuel your fevered and perverse imagination.

Just see it this way. If Iran launchs a nuke, in 20 years from now, people will still be wondering... what the hell is Iran?
HAHAHAHAHA, are you stupid??? why do you think we would all die? you really think 1 nuke could kill an entire 6+billion people?? look at our bombs on Nagasaki and Hiros. did they do any damage to areas besides the two largest cities? No. so why would 1 nuke, that isn't even functionable, do any damage to a country 40x the size of japan? Not to mention, Iran's nuke won't even fly to France, not to mention all the way to the states!

I think what will happen is another Stalin will be taken out of power and there will be no one to fuel the insurgents in Iraq.
