I think it is because the USPS is so wrapped up in this Britney Spears' nervous breakdown. The postal workers seem really down over the past few days and I have noticed that the mail carrier in my neighborhood did not have his earphones on today. This Britney Spears thing is affecting a lot of lives and government agencies... it is sad... I am glad the Today show and all news broadcasts are continually giving us updates!!!!

Hope her hair grows back! Let's cross our fingers, shaved heads must be bad for the world.

Depends on where you live. Here in utah, we have been flying the flags at half mast because of the mall shootings and the people who died in it.

I don't think its a holiday, if it were, I wouldn't be at work. I'm pretty sure its been over 30 days since a president has died as well. I would suspect that its a local or personal death they are recognizing, but I cant be sure.
