First off, delete your characters, then have your Internet disconnected, then sell your computer, and finally go out and find a new hobby , sports, hunting, fishing , anything to tie up your time til you get over it , this is what i did to break myself from Everquest...it helped , been off the game for over 2 years now and don't miss it either

Restrict yourself from something else you love untill you break the addiction or get another thing to do. I did this when I was waiting for Black and White 2 to come out. What did I do? I became addicted to finding info about Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Just try something else to do.

Awhile back, my guild and I were doing a raid in Blackwing Lair. One of our main tanks (warrior) named Chupar had messaged one of our guildies and everyone just stopped what they were doing to look at Chupar. All of a sudden he started disenchanting his gear (all epics) until he was totally "naked". Then he told everyone good bye and quit. That was probably the most shocking (at the time) way to quit that I saw. But he didn't come back. You could try that, disenchant all your best gear and then uninstall the game and press that "cancel your subscription" button. Scary, i know. But I can't quit, it's too fun lol.

First, sell your character. That way you won't feel like you spent all that time playing for nothing. Then uninstall it and sell the game. And don't start again. Pick a new game. Battlefield 2 is my favorite.

Sadly... there is no way. You try and try to escape - but then they go and make an expansion pack and BAM! You're trapped again. I never played the game myself - but I have a friend who is just like you. Blast those darn creators of WOW! Grrrr!

Ha Ha! Cheers!
