There are many things you should think about when you're deciding on an unusual name, such as avoiding embarrassing initials(be aware of what your child's initials spell) or nicknames they may get at school because others can't say their name. Steer clear of names associated with strange people, places, situations and unpleasant meanings. A name no one has heard of and few can pronounce can bring attention a child would rather avoid or keep others away because they can't say the name.

Remember that the child may not think much about a name now. But..... later in life they may find that their name has an unpleasant meaning, or is associated with something they don't like and may change the name you so carefully thought about and chose for them.

Past experience has made me send this to you!
