my dad is around 5''8 and my mum is around 5''. would drinking milk or eating or drinking anything else help?

Why do you want to be 5'6", why not just stay the height you are. instead of trying to alter how tall your supposed to be?

Well, I think this will come down to genetics my dear, and there isn't some magic food or drink to make you grow taller. And I wish there WAS....I haven't grown an inch since I was 14. I am 5'1 and now 23 years old. I used to want to be taller, but now I kinda like being a shorter person. And all I do to gain a few inches is put on my high heels, and I'm good to go!!!

lol, out of your hands I'm afraid. Eat right and exercise just as I'm sure you've heard a lot, but it won't make you grow in height really. You'll soon be at that point where you've reached you're full height, I haven't grown a cm since I was 15 I don't think, I'm 17 now. learn to love yourself just the way you are, we all have things we'd change, but most of them are completely out of our power, and dwelling on them won't do any good at all xx

It all has to do with genetics. Seeing as how your parents are not very tall, you are bound to stay right around where you are. You may grow another inch, but not more. Hey, being 5'3" is perfectably cool!!! My daughter, who is 18 is right around 5'0. She was bothered by her height when she was younger, but she likes being short now because it seems alot of her taller friends are protective of her.
It will all be ok!

Im 16 and in 5"1 and sometimes it bothers me but really there is no way of getting taller and who cares good things come in small packages.

You're only 15 darlin, give yourself some time. Eating and drinking protien and calcium is always a good idea, but how tall you are is all in your genetics. I think 5' 3" is plenty tall anyway.

No, you are pretty much stuck around 5'3". At thriteen I stopped growing and I was 5 ft. I am 18 and I love my height. You can get into the movies cheaper and dinner is cheaper. I use to want to be 5'3".
