Well because the cats would play with their food, stomp on it, slap it around for a few minutes, then bite the heads off and leave the rest lying around all over the place, lol

I know a little too graphic, but I've seen my cat catch mice and then the fun begins, lol.

1. There are no mice farms. There is not enough of a market for mouse meat that people would raise them for pet food.
2. Humans make purchasing decisions for animals. Humans are generally grossed out by mice. They're not going to buy it. They're going to buy what they would like to eat if THEY were cats, which is why you see "turkey florentine in a shrimp bisque sauce with capers and nutmeg."
