No.
You will have to lay down in a MRI tunnel to have that done.

My sister had something wrong with her knee and had to have an M.R.I. She did have to lay down in a tunnel thing for about an hour. But if you can't do that I think there are some that you can just sit in.

Maybe, but what you should be ready for is the noise it makes, It doesn't hurt at all but gives off a series of buzzes that very pitches and tones. Just keep in mind that for any short term fear, it will be worth it to walk! The quality of an MRI vs X-RAY is like day and night, and with the MRI your Dr. will know what to do without guess work. Good Luck, UJ

if you get an MRI you will have to go into the tunnel.
An x-ray seems to be all you need for a broken knee.

You'll need to lie down in a tunnel, unless you can go to an "open" MRI facility. Unless you are clausterphobic, I would opt for the traditional "tunnel", as the quality of the images is better. And don't worry, there aren't any x-rays or ionizing radiation involved.

Yes and its very important you take care of your knee, because later down the road you wont be able to run or do the activity's you love to do.
BUT YES YOU HAVE TO LAY IN A HARD BED BOARD AND GO IN TO A TUNNEL. THAT MAKES A REAL LOUD NOISE, BUT FEEL CONFIDENT IN YOUR SELF.

I think this depends on what kind of equipment your doctor's office (or wherever you are getting this procure done) has. You may be partially in the MIR tube....as your doctor. :-)
