I leave in time to get there 10 minutes early. This means that I'm relaxed before I start. If there's a holdup in the traffic, I've got 10 minutes to play with. I've done this for years and it works! So, the answer to your question is that I feel good.

If it is a long commute say if it takes an hour and a half to take public transportation from the suburbs to the city, it is very exhausting. Just waiting for the train is time consuming.

i feel like "whats the point in life anymore" i hate the job i'm in i also hate the people i work with. my skills are unused and i feel pathetic. my cars out of action and i havent got the money to get it fixed so i bike it in the rush hour in all weather just to continue the cycle of pain.
but good luck to anyone in a high paid job or even treated with respect in work.

I used to LOVE my drive to work in the mornings, testing my driving skills, against other crap drivers, the traffic lights, I would listen to CLASSIC FM, drive through fabulous countryside on the way, this was therapeutic, often problem solving on the way.
I quite miss it, I took early retirement at Christmas, he he he

Used to be good, when I was teaching, and so-so when I was in other jobs in the casino.
Now, retired. Travel just from the bedroom to the kitchen, and then on to wherever else I choose to go.
I'm freeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Too rushed to think about it. Usually running late and just want to get there.
