I have two dogs that both have insurance but I was just wondering if anyone else thinks that it is insane that pets get better health care than some humans. I mean there are people out there that can not even afford medicine and here my dogs are getting first rate insurance and health care I feel a little guilty.

I know. We wish that all people could have good insurance.
But on the other hand it shows that you love your pets enough to buy the insurance for them It's great for us to because animals can get quite expensive at the vets. I have it for my Toy Poodle.

You can change that by electing the right politicians and demanding universal health care. I live in Canada and I can walk into any doctor's office or any hospital and never pay a cent. Even street people can walk in a never have to think about it. We pay higher taxes, but it is well worth it. We're neighbors...so health care is totally possible.

yea, they do! listen to this:
2 patients needing the same kind of hip surgery went to their doctors. one got the surgery done in less than a week, so they got better faster. the other patient had to wait 8-10 weeks and had to fill out a ton of papers and they were in pain all this while. whats the difference? the faster one was a dog!
you see, a vet gets right on it, while a doctor is so worried about the paper work and blah blah blah, they have to wait longer to help their patient!!

what do you pay for insurance? you should only feel guilty if your kids don't have insurance
