You know that feeling you get when you think someone's watching you when someone actually is watching you?

How does your brain know/suspect you're being watched when nothing is out of the ordinary?

It may be that you have already seen someone watching you for a fleeting moment but it didn't register in your memory at that instant.
When it does register, maybe just seconds later, it is 'out of synch' with the event. So you 'think' you're being watched, and you are being watched - though you really 'knew' all along you were being watched. Its really weird, but its the same as deja vu. Our memory just sort of 'slips sequence' for a moment.

It's one of those unexplained phenomena, like if you're at a party and keep staring at someone, that person will eventualy realise you're looking at them, even if they're looking the other way. Noone knows how or why it happens, and most of the time, it's right.

I think its the primal instinct of survival going way back to when early man was preyed upon as a food source ... man against man, animal against man... back before man became the superior intellect...

Sometimes we are being watched from another realm...I've caught my dead grandpap watching me a couple of times...It makes me happy to know he still cares.

its because our eyes when we stare, give off energy. peopel can feel that energy across a room. when someone is thinking of you, and you think of them, its not coincidence, its synchronicity!
