Poland and other Soviet nations stood against the might of Russia for their freedom. The US defeated the strongest nation in the world for freedom. But some peoples i.e. Iraq under Saddam, just accepted the abuse. Do these people deserve freedoms that other people fought for themselves?

Some countries like Iraq & Iran had elected democratic gov'ts, but because they were left of centre, the US , using the CIA overthrew them and replaced them with Saddam & the Shah, who were both tyrannical dictators, but played along with the US.
Kissinger & the CIA had Pres, Allende of Chile and his chief of defence murdered and replaced by Pinochet. The Dullus bros. in 1952 had The elected pres. Jacobo Arbense and his VP Diaz overthrown and replaced by their goon. In the next 10 years over 100.000 Guatamalans along with a Roman Catholic Cardinal and a number of nuns were murdered by the CIA/gov't death squads.
By the way, what was the "strongest nation in the world that the US defeated. The US helped the Allies defeat Germay in1945. The USSR was not defeated, but imploded on itself. They got out of Vietnam with their tails between their legs. That pretty well leaves Grenada, where they defeated a handful of Cuban students who were there helping the farmers.

Some countries simply can't handle governing themselves. They need a strong, sometimes brutal person to tell them what to do. In countries where the educational level is low, a dictator usually takes over. The US has slipped to 17th place in its ed. ratings, so the future looks grim for us. We can already see that we are in a downward spiral.

You don't really think that Ronald Raygun defeated the Russians with his statement - "Mr Kruscheve bring your wall down!" do you?

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the Russian people themselves that forced the Communists out of office because their higher ups in the Politburo were living higher on the hog than what the Czar was doing back in l917 when he was deposed! - and the Russian people revolted!
