What do guys think of girls that dress "alternatively" like band t-shirts, skinny jeans, converse, plaid, bowling shirts, dark hair, pale skin, etc. I'm told that I'm attractive, but I don't really believe it, because I don't look like an abercrombie girl.

I am by no means a Fashion Expert, but I'm definitely a guy...I know, I checked.
I live/work in a college town, so I see pretty much every fashion statement there is, on a daily basis. Some young women can pull off certain "looks", while on others, the same "look" looks ridiculous. (Am I making sense so far?)
I used to hang around with a girl named Shelly. She was a fan of a local band that I also liked, so we ended up in the same club fairly often. Most of the people in attendance (including myself, my gf, my friends) wore pretty mainstream clothes, but Shelly had the Goth look before it was even popular (around here, anyway). She had very short hair, dyed jet black, and she wore very pale makeup, in addition to leather jackets along with cutoff T's. I actually heard people refer to her as "a dirty Q-Tip" (I thought that was really rude, but I laughed along anyway).
But I'd noticed right away that she was very, very pretty (even with the makeup), and after I/we got to know her, we discovered that she was very nice, soft-spoken, and quite smart. At the time, she was earning a master's degree in chemistry. I've completely lost track of her, but by now I would imagine she's got a PhD.
Wear whatever suits you. You're not defined by what you wear; you're defined by what you are.

its a tricky q to ask coz your by no skill going to get all men to agree. Like a stylish that i'll think of is warm my friends will think of is gruesome. Illd say rather of nerve-racking approximately seems men would be interested in self assurance and character. such as you mite come across a smoking warm female and men would be interested in her however the 2nd they discover out shes a shallow ***** they'll flow on

You just gotta be yourself. The biggest turn off would be someone pretending to be something else. If you're confident in who you are, that is a big up factor. I've dated a lot of different girls, but the one thing they all had in common was that they were confident in who they were. Don't try to just fit in, that's the worst thing you could do.

I think you would look cute, alternative is cool.
The "Abercrombie girl" is so overrated.
Dress as you feel comfortable and your personality not what the fashion magazines are pushing.

"abercrombie girl"?
Just be who YOU want to be.
Dress nice, not shabby.
Carry yourself with dignity and always keep your body healthy, clean and well-groomed.
The rest will fall into place.
