I have checked Java, cleaned the cache, restarted my machine, etc. etc., and don't understand why only Literati is giving me this message about an old client server--and cleaning my cache. I get as far as the list of rooms available, and when I click to go further, I get the damned error message. I've played Literati for over a year, and this is a first. Perhaps it's god's way of telling me to get off the game boards and get a life? Yahoo customer service is treating this as a Java problem, and I've done everything they recommended. But if it is a Java problem, why can I play other games--with Java--on Yahoo and elsewhere? This baffles me. Thanks for any help you can give.

Yahoo! is doing everything it can to fix it. I emailed Customer Care, and they emailed back. If you care to know what they said, you can email me at weir_weirdo@yahoo.com (and no, I am not a weirdo, just a play on my last name (weir))
