Loneliness doesn't hurt in my experience, other than when your very aware of other people that are in company and are happy. In my experience the worst thing about loneliness is that being alone gives you too much time to worry about things and become paranoid about the smallest of things. Therefore I don't think it hurts, i just don't think prolonged loneliness is healthy, that's all.

love would not harm heartbreak and tough patches do . they the two harm. loneliness is the prefer to have somebody around you . on a similar time as love hurts each so often it rather is many times with the desire you and that individual will stay mutually .....they the two harm which hurts maximum? no advantageous a lost love can weigh on your heart for an prolonged time particularly once you omit that individual and the relationship you had . loneliness makes you prefer to fill a empty area. difficult to reply to.

You can be lonely with 100's of people around you...loneliness is about feeling truly cut off from everything and everyone.
You can be alone and not feel lonely...
Humans need interaction with other humans and we need to be understood as well by others. By not having friends or a social circle to call on, or family can make someone extremely lonely...

yes, it's an actual feeling....studies have been underway recently to show that not only the brain controls us... when you are lonely your heart aches , your stomach churns, and you can just get general malaise... you become more concentrated on an aches and pains...are they caused by your loneliness or by the fact that you just have more time to think about how bad you feel? Who knows? note: there is a difference of being a lone and being lonely

In order for lonliness not to hurt, it has to be a choice... I've been single for four+ years and I'm fine with it. It's when people try to socialize with me that hurts. But, I'm a schizo, so maybe that's why it has the reverse effect on me.

There is a difference between being alone and lonliness..I am comfortable in my own company but it's not pleasant to be "stuck" on one's own should conversation and interaction be required...Plan something new,do something different...Change your routine a little...It's still a beautiful world for all that's going on..x
