People don't like it when someone goes against what feels good for them. Bush is a person who does what he thinks is right regardless of what others think of him. I would much rather have a president with backbone than one who is such a people pleaser that he can't find his butt with both hands in his back pocket. I applaud President Bush and am dreading the next election. America will take a tremendous turn for the worse after the 2008 election.

First Bush used the 9/11 to go to war so he could pick up where his dad left off and that was the perfect opportunity. At first it was O.B. then ended up with S.H.. Bush isn't stupid he is getting money from some oil fields but the government owes all the oil kings so much money compounded daily they can't pull out. He knows his days are numbered while he is office and lets Chaney take the rap. Don't look forward to the new president to pull out any time soon, it just won't happen. Politics and war mongers are loving it. And this is coming from a former die hard Republican. It's money, owing dues and money. And it's prov-en that Bush was not responsible for 9/11.

bush is dumb,,,,, but he did not master mind 911, he only rigged one election. You can be an idiot and get things done, take you for example, you some how managed to use the computer to post this message! All you need to do is have the right people working for you, its not like bush himself rigged all of the votes, or bush himself is in the war.

I think this question is unfair. Just because someone doesn't like Bush doesn't mean that person believes he rigged elections or masterminded 9/11. Most are level headed people like myself that just don't believe he is the right man for the job. Lets face it, there are going to people with extremist views on either side of the fence, but those people are outliers to the general views of the people on their side. Bush is an American after all, so why would he want to kill so many citizens for a reason to attack Iraq. I just believe he is making the wrong decisions for this country, and that he needs to change strategies if he hopes to be successful.

I hate bush, but don't relate to your comments above.
The integrity of the elections may have been compromised by the Republican party, but it was not Bush as the mastermind.
I never thought that Bush masterminded 9/11
The Bush administration did manipulate intelligence in advance of the Iraq war to get congressional approval, and increase public approval. I can't give Bush credit for that one, he was just along for the ride. Cheney and Rove masterminded that plan.
Regarding oil revenues, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that the Iraq war would help oil investments.

When Bush ran in 2000 he said he would unite the country and was man of "conservative compassion."
When 9-11 occurred he had the opportunity to unite the country yet he chose to go to war against Iraq giving the public false information as to WMD and Iraq. Due to our inability to look, stop and listen we fell for his "lies." Today we pay the cost of war not only in man power but cost in money.

You throw in some of "the things he did" from far flung conspiracy theories.
Its arguable is Bush is dumb/stupid. It's not arguable that speaks as though he is a buffoon. Even his supporters admit that.
People mostly hate Bush because they saw this war as being unnecessary as it is now showing itself to be and Bush and his advisers should be held accountable.

The fact that he still says "nucular" after six years as the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES tells me a lot.
I guarantee that he's the only man in the world in charge of nuclear weapons that cannot (or will not) pronounce their name correctly. I think that shows a fundamental lack of respect for the awesome power entrusted to him.

Whether it is all true or not it makes little difference because he is simply a figurehead and a puppet for people behind the scenes. I think thats probably WHY he is still there, because he is stupid he is easily controlled.
