No, most international conflicts are caused by economic interests, or have been, or security concerns. You can always spin something your way, which im sure you will try to do, just try to practical and objective.

Most international conflicts are for political, economic, border, religious, reasons. Throw in a crazed dictator or two and that about covers it.
