Did a 2 home preg tests one came out very faint pos but the second neg. My period came on 2 days late but much shorter than normal. Should I re test or is it just wishfull thinking?

a faint line is a faint line so chances rae ur preg the bleeding was prob implantation etc. try another one. chances are the line will be stronger and if there is no line u could have miscarried

Let me tell you my story. I was just under 2 weeks late, so I took a home test, First Response, it was pos. 2 days later, I started bleeding like it was a period. O took another First Response test, positive again. Took another, E.P.T. it was a faint pos, but looked very neg. So I went into the ER, they did a blood exam and determined that I am pregnant. Just very early on. only about a week or 2. I am now on a very rested order from Doc. . We are super thrilled but are being very caustious. So see a doc, good luck

Wait a week or two and take another one. I took like 7 negative test before I finally got a positive one. And in the midst of all of that I thought I had started my period but it was only for like 2 days and very light. Come to find out it was implantation bleeding. You can google implantation bleeding and see if it describes your situation. But I would definitely take another test.

i think you should do a re test just to be sure, you may be pregnant but until you do another test there is no way of knowing for sure, good luck

Even if the positive was faint it still counts as a positive. I would retest. Good Luck!!

re-testing wont do any harm. If your not pregnant then dont get to upset there is always next month. good luck

re test but at a clinic not at home. u never know thats how i have a son today. good luck.

it is possible that you are pregnant and i would retest see what it says if anything go get a blood test done that is the most accurate way to test
