i have thought about this a lot and kinda come to a conclusion that you make life long friends only when you are young but as you grow older you lose something that takes to be a true friend. I still have very close relationship with my friends whom I met when I was in school but the friends i made in college and at work didn't last long enough. People keep moving to other places, new jobs, new life styles and all of these contributing to people not been able to keep the relations or the warmth of friendship for a very long time. True friends are very, very rare to come by and we should be wise enough to recognize when we meet one.

Nowadays, everyone lives by their own life values, friends may be a low priority in someones life and they may be unresponsive and not helpful when you are in need.

True friends click, meaning that you don't need to keep chasing after the person and making apologies for what you do to maintain their friendship, true friends can forgive and can accept you for who you are. But friendship is not as simple as asking someone to be your 'new' friend, it's a two way road, and that's where most people discover a friend isn't 'true'.

True friendship is where both sides put in equal amounts and help each other creating a perfect balance. In friendships, a core component is maintaining healthy communique! Make sure this 'true' friend is as true as they say they are.

Because true friends are the one's that walk in, when the world walks out.

Hope this helped!
Good Luck.

Its a big world, so many people around. People keep listen other and other and other, it would never stop. Once you got your true friend then your true friend met new people, it easy change a bit to your true friend then you realize its not true friend. It is not easy to find a true friend at all. All you have to patience and keep meet new people, who know you will meet a true friend out there. Good luck.

I have a true friends. Several actually.

the best way to find them is to be yourself so the like you for who you are. Also find interests you share with them. it's good to have different interests sometimes too so you can learn more fomr eachother and try new things together. thats always fun.

:-)

But people are hard to trust these days.....

You are right! Some people never find that special person that's a real friend. Life is hard and everyone protects theirself somewhat by not opening up. Opening up is what friendship is about.

because most people live for themselves in life and care none about others...but if you think what do them people have to live for? nothing but themselves..and whos going to help them when they have a problem.. thereself will have to. so i guess if you think about it enough if you don't have a true friend then maybe there is something about you that noone likes or maybe you just haven't found a true friend yet...the're out there so start looking.

relationships takes time to develop and a lot of times people go seperate ways before this can happen.

And human nature sometimes causes some so called friends to carry the ole chip on the shoulder longer than others too.
