Hi there. I have been selling on Ebay for 3 years now and you can make money. I sell mostly vintage things as that is what I like and used to collect myself. I started out selling items I had at home and was ready to pass on to other collectors. Now, I go to auctions and buy stuff to sell on Ebay. You need some money to start up as Ebay charges for listing fees, picture fees and if your item sells, a final value fee. I know many people who sell on Ebay who work full time jobs. You will need to also get shipping supplies, which the USPS sends boxes and other things, delivered to you for free. It helps to have a good set of scales as you need to weigh the items. You will need to decide where you want to sell. I sell worldwide. If you need further answers, go to Ebay and check out the seller central section. Good Luck to you.

eBay works for me. I am an eBay Silver Level Powerseller and have sold 12,000 items on ebay. My monthly profit averages $3500. The more you work, the more you make.
I started out doing eBay for fun, and after the first 3 months, the income from eBay was enough for me to quit my "real" job and do it full-time. That was 4 years ago.
This is a good learning resource if you are new to eBay selling

Let's just think about this a moment. What do you have that you consider a saleable product?? eBay is no different than a brick & mortar store - YOU HAVE TO HAVE A GOOD PRODUCT.
Assuming you do have good products, do you have a mailing/shipping system ??
One of the markers of success is whether you ship the product on time and whether it's received properly. If you don't have time to do this step, even if it takes you until midnight every night, you're better off limiting your offerings.
Good Luck

If you know what you are doing you can live off E-bay profits, especially in things like antiques.
Most people just use it as a boost to normal income though.

You get paid to complete offers and surveys which are usually around $1 each. There are also free trial offers that are worth more than $20 each. It's really easy and it takes just a couple of minutes to earn a lot of money. Each month they send you a check in your mailbox. I made exactly a $347.34 check last month - and be sure to check their forum to make sure I'm not lying. Good luck!
