When I am trying to burn a cd or a dvd it will go all the way through the process but I get an error when it tries to finalize the disc. What could the problem be? I used to burn movies and music all the time but then all of the sudden it won't finalize the disc. I have tried using 3 different burning programs. Nero, Sonic digital media, and Windows media. The Sonic and Windows programs came on my computer.

No I am not a thief. I am copying movies so that my 6 year old son can have a copy of his movies in his room so the originals don't get scratched up and I copy the cds because my husband doesn't like to keep the original cds in our car in the cold.

Used to happen to me.
One of more of the programs could be conflicting with each other as they use the same device drivers.
Also, try not to do anything else while the DVD/CD is burning.
That takes up alot of the memory as it is writing to the disk.

FYI....

You're a thief.
That's all that matters.
I think you're despicable.
Get a job so you can afford your recreation time.
I think it's disgusting that people want everything for nothing nowadays.
Goodbye.
