Chris Cornell is now working on solo stuff. RATM have some tour dates out.

I saw both bands peform and while I love Chris Cornell and think he has a fantastic voice, I never saw the band as a permanent unit. They just didn't mesh up right like they did with Zack. RATM had such a powerful energy live- like they were all doing not only what they wanted to be doing but what they needed to be doing. Hard to explain but I basically think RATM getting back together is fan-freaking-tastic.

I'm not happy that Audioslave is splitting up but it is nice to see that Rage Against The Machine might be getting back together.

I'm happy because Audioslave sucked. If RATM does get back together, will they be as good as we remember them? Probably not. They should just stop now!

chris cornell left two amazing bands. quite frankly i think he's a complete idiot. i'm happy rage is getting back together but i dont think they should put anything new out. just play some shows and call it a day.
