Ricky Gervais is the funniest, then Dawn French, then Jim Carey, then Al Murray. Don't rate Lenny Henry at all & David Jason is a one-trick pony.

right to start Lenny Henry is not funny at all and never has been. dawn french can be very funny but can also be a bit one dimensional, David Jason landed the character of a lifetime with Del boy and i can name countless actors who could have played that part. Jim Carey is hilarious but is ALso one dimensional, al Murray original but average, and Ricky Jervis has to go down as an all time great and we still have more to come, so in answer to your question RICKY GERVAIS,
