It's a bit of a long shot, but the story of Heidi (actually a Swiss book, by Johanna Spyri, but quite well known in English) is one of an orphaned little girl, who is taken at the age of 5 to the Alps by her aunt who lives in the city. After 3 years of happiness, Heidi's aunt returns to take her to Frankfurt to be a companion to an invalid girl called Clara. She tries to fit in, but her health fails and she pines for the countryside, eventually returning to the Alps. Clara joins her, and becomes stronger and healthier, eventually regaining her ability to walk. Everyone lives happily ever after.
I'm summarising a lot there... Heidi is a little girl, not a nanny like Becassine. You may be looking for a more Mary Poppins sort of a character - she also doesn't fit in well with the chic London family, but more because she is deemed to be too liberal.
Hope you find what you're looking for!

Ronald Weasley - the two interior the HP books and the flicks. He only makes me chuckle Draco Malfoy - heavily pathetic at instances yet humorous at instances as properly Severus Snape - complicated and fairly a solid tragic determine fairly a number of the Futurama characters - only via fact every physique who's slightly sarcastic/evil/can definitely act in EastEnders - e.g. Max (gonna get a thumbs down yet he's not real so) Stacey, Roxy, Abi, Lucy, etc. no longer Honey Pokemon characters - they have been stunning and have been my obsession while i became like, 10 Ben's friends in Knocked Up - hilarious friends maximum of extra yet we'd be here all day! =)

you could use encino man perhaps (90s movie) or even perhaps The Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire, how about the OC? American media is full of this archetypal story.
