She does this couple of times in the movie and i don't understand why. She calls him up and says she's free the next day, but then when Ruben says he's free to meet up she says "ok then. ill have to check my schedule though"
I don't get why she does this...?

cuz thats just how she is
she doesnt make plans or commitments, thats sort of a major part of the movie...way to be observant

She is flighty and he is way too willing. She thinks he is too desperate when he agrees immediately, remember she wasnt looking for any ties.
