Is America ready for a man called Obama for President? (Try changing the b into an s)
Is really important to have a man (or a woman) in the White House, to face crucial future and imminent decisions?
But...Do we have a better choice?

I could care less about the color or sex.
Hillary is a nightmare waiting to happen,
Lets see,, Bush, Clinton, Bush , Clinton..... Cmon people please

Barrack is looking for spotlight ,,, nothing more
He can be a politician turned movie star,,
instead of the other way around

Personally,, Id like to see a Middle Class, American that has always done "the right thing" and used common sense in their decisions. A candidate that will spend money bringing fresh water to a grateful people ,,, rather than go to war for folks that hate us.

I think it is ludicris to even ask this question. Isn't it America that is the land of free, doesn't it have democracy allowing anyone to be elected. The civil rights movement, women's rights movement it is all over. Race, Sex or Color should not be an issue for presedential candanancy. Through out the world many countries already had or have a woman or black person as a president and the county did or is doing fine (look at Germany). Let the best candidate win and not the white American male because the white American now is not that good of a president so let others try.

I would prefer Al Gore to run for president because I agree with his ideas of Global Warming.

There is nothing wrong with a woman or a person of color being elected to office. The problem is when people vote for them based soley on if they are black or hispanic or a woman or a gay. People must be smarter than that and look at the persons values and integrity. Does the candidate hold the same values as most of main stream American like Ms Rice, or are they Liberal left wacos with destructive ideals like Hillary or Obama??

I'm sorry, but i am not ready for a woman president or a non-white president. I am a white female and i feel like white people are already a minority in this country. I'm not voting for either of them. I am tired of both the Clintons and the Bush's.

I think we can handle a non-white or woman as president, but not Hillary Clinton. She is not the answer.
The same two families have been in the White House for years. Do we want to continue this trend? Bush, Sr as VP, Bush Sr as President, Clinton twice, Bush Jr twice......it's time for a change.

Personally I think the US is more ready for a non-white male president than a woman. But the votes might say otherwise...we have close to a year left until elections anyways...

What would a woman do or a person of color? What perspective would they give that is better? More taxes, more money to the poor more abortions more illegal aliens more lies about the environment more lies about minimum wage?

what we need is a president that can READ the Constitution!

I still think it doesn't make much sense saying 'Is America ready for a woman president?' or 'Is America ready for a black president?'. I think what America really needs right now is a GOOD president, regardless of gender and skin color.

I think women and non whites are. I don't think men in general will elect a woman president. I think people are ignorant about non whites. It should be a very interesting election. I am a whilte female leaning towards Obama. ( your bs comment, better left un-said.
