It really worries me, that I find almond-shaped, glossy deep red fingernails attractive. And blue and green and yellow fingernails are seriously yucky.

All the cultures seem to have women painting their fingernails deep red, isn't that strange? I've heard it might be related to menstrual blood, as a sign of fertility. But that's even more yucky!

What thinks you?

Any woman I know who paints her fingernails usually matches it to her lipstick. And much paler shades are in. I only know one guy who does, & he tries out all different colours - must tell him your theory for the laugh! What's yucky about menstruation, anyway? It only means you're fertile and not pregnant, which is pretty normal for most women!

I'm not sure, maybe it's because you wish your nails were almond-shaped and that you could paint them a glossy deep red color?.. J/k..

But I find the color red to be repulsive, that is by far my least favorite color.. I like clear, and french manicures with black or green, sometimes white tips to be really pretty.. Of course I am a girl..

I suspect most men don't really pay a great deal of attention to painted fingernails, just as most men are not really intriqued with high-heeled shoes.
