I don't see anything wrong with it. If people from different races got married, you have to give it to them because they were able to ignore their physical differences and perhaps cultural differences and love each other no matter what. I think interracial marriages also makes exotic looking kids!

If you're really in love, great, However I caution you to think about potential children and what effect it may have on them. If Culture and race are issues for you a child of mixed heritage might have issues in life with people who don't understand. If that doesn't bother you and you accept the fact that it WILL Happen, then more power to you. I have frinds, (one black, one white) Who are married and have a beautiful daughter and who get along just fine but then again, I have a friend who is of mixed heritage who has problems maintaing his sense of identity and gets teased being called a "zebra" - In all honesty, the choice ends up being yours in the end.

If two people love one an other, everything good can come. But there are those who can't mind their own business. But what difference dose that make. There are enough good people in the world who will only wish the best for them. (the so called mixed couple!) If you really want to know the truth, all marriages are mixed. Get it, "MARRIAGES!" Y don't you learn how to spell?

They really better love one another, because often the family has problems with their marriage. I have seen hateful family members cause problems at Christmas. Many mixed marriages are extremely happy, but one must adjust to the culture difference. True love can handle almost anything though.

Well, what can I say. If it wouldn't be for mixed (mixed race) marriages, I wouldn't have a grandson. My daughter-in-law's Grandmother is Mexican, her Father is Jewish, and we are Caucasian. So do we want to trade people, or accept the fact that people of different races fall in love or get together and procreate.

I think "mixed marriages", as you call them, are perfectly acceptable.
As long as two people love each other and are prepared to work together to support each other and make the marriage work, it doesn't matter what "category" each of them are from.
They may have to be prepared for some outsiders to have different views about this.

As long as the people love each other and show respect, care, love, and promise of a future together, then more power to them.

I am not racist and feel anyone is allowed to marry whoever they want as long as it is not to an animal or incest.

I am not trying to preach, but this is how I was raised and still believe today.

In reality I wish it happened more,it might be a good idea to interbreed until there's only really one race in existence on Earth. Then we could put the whole thing to rest, get rid of petty hatreds of some people and false victim status of others.

I'm a child of such a couple. So my opinion is evident! That's an absolutely normal thing. I guess that when we'll live in a really PROGRESSIVE society, there won't be such questions at all, because it'll be absolutely naturally.
