Interesting question - attractive to an 'old' person, like myself. . .
Why do you ask such?
I would think ANY colors work - I don't feel attracted to a particular web site due to the colors it manifests. . .

For old people the main goal is easy readability, so the colors might be white background with black print, but a main concern is larger print, like 12 or 14 pixels. See the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) papers at www.w3.org

I would recomment not making it bright and flashy, because older people tend to have poor eyesight and get frustrated with all the flashiness of today. Keep it fairly simple, a color scheme like yahoo answers might be good
