I have researched the signs of pregnant fish, It/She hangs out by the heater, stays up by the top of tank, has that square looking belly, looks pregnant, seems to only eat a little and seems to be bothered by other/male fish when they go over to it/her to play/swim around her. She/it swims away from them and then returns to the heater. The temp. of the tank is between 72 and 74 degrees at all times. This just started about three days ago. Before that she/it did swim around and ate more like the other fish.

Oranda meaning goldfish? They lay eggs, they don't have live births. How do you know that its a girl fish? Just curious, never really checked out the differences!

Sounds like she's sick or stressed. Check your water perameters immediately, get some new food, and watch her closely. Pregnant GF act and eat the same. The behavior you mentioned is common for an ill fish.

Well, it's going to have to just be one of those things or it isn't. It could be a female and it could have eggs, but if you have no male, or no adult male or no male that's just in the mood, he won't fertilize them anyway. If she's with eggs, one day, surprise, you'll find a bunch of little white tapiocas laying on your gravel or plants. If they don't hatch withing 6 days after that, remove them because that means they weren't fertilized and they'll just die and foul the water.

fish lay eggs and the male fertilizes the eggs after they are layed she isn't pregnant just fat lol
