Obviously it wouldn't be fun for passengers, but can a DC-10, for example, fly high enough and with sufficient speed to achieve this feat that a fighter jet can easily do?

WEll amazingly according to boeing a 747 probably could do a loop. Another uses said that they did a barrell roll in a test in early flight trials, a loop has never been tested though (wussies :o). However according to boeing they do believe a 747 would structurally be able to do it.

Yes, most planes can do a loop. However the larger the plane the greater the mass and the more power to achieve the altitude necessary for the rise to the top of the loop. Gravity will aid with the secondary portion of the loop. The stall would be greater as the plane came to the top of the loop and power compensation would be critical.

It's normal but if you want to get him to stop put some toys (such as chewing blocks or other things to climb on) that might take his interest away from running around. A favorite of mine: a few plain tissue that she would spend a ton of time ripping up and making a nest in her cage. A wheel also helps alot!! :)

It's hard to say. The forces involved might exceed the structural abilities of the plane.

Either that, or it might stall out, and if the pilot couldn't get the engines to start again, they would crash.

I think in theory they can but they could burn out their engine or stall because of the fuel that would be displaced on the other side of the tank. How funny would that be to be there when they did it unexpectedly as a joke. WOO HOO!!! THROW YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!!!!
