didn't see the buffalo game but saw clips and i loved it. now that's old school hockey. and i would LOVE to see more goalie fights...how about you?

I used to love the good ole days of the Avalanche-Wings rivalry when Roy and Osgood would come out and go to town on one another. As rare as the occurance is, it is always a fan favorite, and it shows the passion that all hockey players have for the game. Emery going up against Peters was surreal, as I never have seen a goalie in full pads fighting a forward with far less equipment holding them back. I love goalie fights and if they didnt get penalized for leaving the crease, I think we would see a whole lot more!

No, I think goalie's fighting is kinda dumb. It might be entertaining but a goalie fighting is too risky because a goalie with a broken hand could mean missing the playoffs.

It's rare and I think that is why everyone gets all excited about it. I don't think we need to see more. The occasional goalie fight is enough for me. Too many goalie fights would look ridiculous.

That game was amazing and it was pretty exciting. I would like to see more goalie fights but the goalie fight was expected after what happened yesterday during the game.
