Blue Bus from Plaza Catalunya , Plaza Universitat or Plaza d'Espanya every 30 minutes , 6 euros , train from Estacio de Sants every 20 minutes . Taxi from downtown Barcelona to El Prat Airport 30 euros

There's a good airport to city centre bus. Alternatively, come out of the airport, head left a few minutes walk to the train station... that's the way I always head to the city centre.

There is and special bus: airport /city center, then there is also train: there are different stations, so you can see there and then by taxi!
