You can respect Rich, McCain and others as they open themselves to hostile questions.

Does Giuliani think he is going to spend 2 years just talking to his friends in the Fire Department? Typical Republican would you say?

Giuliani is too liberal for the national Republican primary electorate - he's been married 3 times, has lived with a gay man (when he left wife # 2 but before he moved in with his girlfriend and made her wife # 3) and supports gay rights and abortion rights. Also, a top Giuliani aide, Bernard Kerik, has ties to the Gambino crime family. The main issue that Republicans like Giuliani for - him putting lots of Blacks and Latinos in jail when he was the mayor of New York City, would pretty much guarantee that he won't get a crossover minority vote in the general election.

That's why his handlers won't let Giuliani speak freely to the press - too many skeletons in the closet!!!

Sounds like Obama's strategy to me moreso then Giuliani. Which makes a lot of sense. Why let the media tear you to pieces in 2007 when you can instead speak in generalities to make yourself seem "independant" and "above politics"?

Are you implying that firefighters are not real voters? How very egalitarian of you.

It is still very early in the campaign season. Tactically speaking offering himself up to people, like you, who don't like him is a stupid thing to do when you are over a year away from the primaries. You shouldn't be pissed at him for having more political sense than the Democrats you are backing.

Giuliani's views are not secrets. He has been forthright about all of them.

We get it. YOU don't like him. Get over it.

BTW- When you rely on biased sources like the New York Times you will never get the whole story. Somehow I get the impression that you aren't interested in that though.

Vinnie G,Rudy rocked as mayor. I remember "Dinkin Doughnuts". What a flop he was. Crackhouses everywhere. NY Times sounds worried. Their gal Hillary is showing her true colors.

He just started campaigning. BTW,The NY Times is in Hillary's camp. Perhaps you should worry more about Hillary and Obama going for each other's throats.

Once the real campaigning starts and his skeletons start coming out of the closet, The conservatives are gonna be saying, " holy crap, I can't believe I almost voted for a guy that married his cousin, is pro-choice, and supports gun control."

Oh, he's great at being there for staged photo opportunities, but he'd not have much to say when it comes to family values.
