I am trying to use DVD+Rs to back-up my files, but my EMac keeps ejecting them. Should I have bought DVD-Rs instead?

click the Apple > About this Mac > More Info

look at the Drive to see if you can even burn DVD's on an Emac. I doubt you can. I have a PowerMac G4 and I can't burn them. You need a SuperDrive, not a Combo drive.

You should have checked the format before you purchased. DVD's are expensive.

but its an easy mistake and a good way to learn
