I always wash my things before wearing. Sometimes the dye will come off on your skin. Think what chemicals could be transferred to you or your love ones.Your clothes, bedding etc. smell much cleaner and fresher also after laundering.Good luck with your laundry. Have a nice day!

Yes, it irriates your skin, even fabric manufacturers say to wash all new fabrics when you get them home. Also the sprays make them "crunchy". Its in part starch so that the fabric is slightly easier to work with, in part a "shine guard" to keep it looking new, and in part a stain resister. Its not designed to be skin safe.

I don't think it's harmful. But, why take the chance? I wash all clothing, bedding and towels before we use them.
