Considering all of the other released (Superman Returns, Batman Begins) and unreleased (The Dark Knight, Wonder Woman, The Man of Steel) material, is it really wise to do this film, even with all of the questionable (Superman Returns) and somewhat confusing (Smallville) storylines dangling already in both film and TV, can they really do it, and make it "make sense" from a storyline point of view?

Not sure how good of an idea. I'm sure they'd be using totally different actors. Not that it matters I guess. We've seen 2 different actors play Superman in movies and 4 of Batman.

It might be interesting if they do it right.

And by the way, I don't find Smallville confusing at all. It's 1 of, if not my favorite TV show. I think the writing is great. They don't always follow the exact storyline of Superman, but most of it is uncharted territory telling the story of Clark's teen years.

Just take it independently and enjoy it. That's what I intend to do, assuming they don't put the same Clark/Superman in the JLA movie as they did in Superman Returns; he was just one of the reasons that movie didn't cut it. He wasn't very "super" looking. To play Batman, they need to get Val Kilmer back, and this time, if he is to appear as Bruce in the movie at all, darken his hair. Wonder Woman, maybe Liv Tyler, I don't know, for the others, it depends on what heroes that they put in.

I think it depends on who's behind production and direction. Because they stop the production on Wonder Woman due to that same reason. You're right about the Smallville show, so very confusing, because their production sucks!!!

lt's going to be good. They don't want X-men to be better than them so....about time they show the real super heroes.
lt's going to be another blockbuster hit.
