What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

Yes you can as I did as well although I married in Reno. If you haven't been married long, you can send for the forms from the Clerk of the Court in Vegas, and get the marriage anulled which would be better that way the marriage won't be of record.

If you've been married awhile or even not long, yes you can get a Divorce and ask your spouse to go along for an uncontested Divorce so it can be ruled on pronto. Only one of you will have to be there if no issues over property or anything is in the mix.

Yes, most states require you to be a resident of the state you file in but, chances are you traveled from another state anyway to get married in Vegas and I imagine your residency issue is already met.

Some states require 90 days, and some longer. I was a resident of Indiana and got my divorce uncontested and it was a matter of filling out simple forms and having me "ex" sign and get her copies back to me. The Divorce proceeding lasted under 30 minutes, and I was back to the state of an unmarried person without a hitch.

The best place to find out all the info you need is the Clerk of the Court's office that handles Divorce and they can answer any concerns or questions you may have.

Good Luck!

Sure. People move from state-to-state all the time and they don't go back to the state they got married it just for a divorce.

Yes, you usually get divorced in the jurisdiction that one of you live in. If you live in one state, and he lives in another, you file where you live if you're the one seeking the divorce. Most courts require that you've lived there/established residency for a certain amount of time, like 6 months, before you can file.

Yes. You file in the state where you reside, not the state where you married (unless you currently reside in the state where you married, of course)
