I do really good in school, and I study really hard, but I have a really hard time passing any tests! I'm a senior in college and I have transferred 3 times becuase I have gotten kicked out for my grades! If I have a class where my grade is based only on my test scores I fail....which to be honest is about 90% of college classes....I just transferred to a new school last semester and am already on acidemic probabtion....this is my last chance to graduate from college. I have been going for 6 years and have no more money! In high school I was a straight A student....I feel like such a looser! Everything in my future is riding on this semester! Anyone have any pointers of what I can do to improve my test scores?

Take some practice tests. Part of your study should be taking mock tests, time yourself and everything. Then, mark your own tests with the help of reference material (like course books and notes from a friend, not just your own notes).

when you take notes, copy them out neatly the same evening, while they are still in your mind.

Then, find ways to relax on the day.

Also, don't worry about it that much. Not everything is riding on it, but play to win with a more optimistic attitude. Don't just aim to pass, aim for an A.

I agree with advisor, explain to your teacher your fear of test. I was the same way in school a straight A student, but when it came to test I would fail. See if you can speak with your Professor, and your School guidance counselor, a little one on one time and explain this to her/him, hopefully they will have a solution and you can quit switching schools. Why don;'t you ask any one of your teachers to be your mentor. It really helps. face to face advice really works. try it.
