my name is Elise Christine, i want to know the origin and what it means. i also want to know what the name Damon Mayfield origin and what it means...Thanks for your help in advance!!

Elise is the short form of Elizabeth which means My God is an oath. Christine is a feminine of Christian.
Damon is Greek for "to tame" Mayfield is a surname that means open country.
