Okie dokie,
Nobody has to. However, if you're a woman you might want to keep it trim and shave around your bikini line. It's alot cleaner that way. I like to shave mine almost completely. I leave just a little bit of hair above the labia. Also if the hair gets too long, you might want to cut it back so it's nice and short but not like stubble.
If you shave there every day, you will get past the whole itchy bumy phase as your skin gets tougher.
It just makes me feel better as a woman.

Do you have to buy extra large and stretchy pants in order to accommodate the huge bush in your pants? When your lover reaches down to fondle you do they just end up grabbing a fist full of hair? Do you need a machete, a torch, and a foreign speaking guide in order to make it through the thick of your pubic hair so that you can masturbate? Maybe it's time for you to shave your pubic hair then. Have no fear, if done right, a good shave is easy, painless, and not too difficult to maintain. So grab your hedge clippers and lets head into the thick of it.
just to let you know, the purpose of pubic hair:
It is believed that the functions of pubic hair include the dissemination of pheromones and protection from the friction of sexual intercourse. Natural selection may also have sustained it because it can show a potential sexual partner that the other person is sexually mature and can reproduce. Pubic hair and the growth between the tops of the legs and the buttocks, like under arm hair, helps to lubricate the areas, making movement smoother and more comfortable.
=Possible reasons
=There is no definitive theory on the reason for the existence of pubic hair. The prevailing theory relates to pheromones â€" scents that the body produces that can be sexually stimulating to others. In this theory, the tufts of hair that grow around the genitals, as well as under the arms, capture these erotic scents. Pheromones get trapped in the pubic hair when apocrine glands release an odorless secretion on the surface of the skin that combines with bacteria decomposed by the secretions of the sebaceous glands. Humans have the same number of hair follicles as gorillas, chimpanzees and orangutans, but body hair is generally very fine or barely visible in comparison. So, while pubic hair and underarm hair might be considered the primary scent traps, they are not the only ones. For some people, scents from these areas are noticeable and consciously increase sexual arousal. Pheromones might not be obvious but may be detected subconsciously
Do not feel peer pressured into shaving your pubic area. Of course it is your decision. If you dont want to, dont. If its because everyone supposedly is, dont.

Its up to you...you dont have too. I would say u should just shave the bikini line. Shaving it all is uncomfortable and looks unnaural and like a 10 year old. Shaving in my opionion is overrated...it was made popular by the internet porn industy, I mean 10-15 years ago no one really shaved. Just look at playboy thru the years. Fluff is making a comeback bigtime!

It seems that the trend these days it to keep the least amount of hair possible. I just saw a reality tv show yesterday and they where really making fun of this girl who didnt shave. it is also very attractive when a male is shaved.

No, you are not "supposed" to shave your pubic hair. It's there for a reason. God didn't make any mistakes! Shaving it off is a temporary trend that will disappear in the future.

Well.. now this is a personal question isn't it. This is a question that is really up to you. And how you feel about it. Sometimes people do things for others if they are asked. But for the most part.. Just do whatever makes you happy.. And if it something you have thought about.. Then try it and see.. It's your body.

Many people due, But I would not suggest that you do. It causes infected hair that really hurts and you have to go to the doc. and they poke it with this really big needle to give you some relief. But most women just shave the bikini area.

The real purpose of pubic hair is there to prevent chafing. If you don't like it shave it, if you don't care then leave it alone.

I would say no, you don't have to shave anywhere if you don't want to. Shaving is more a societal pressure than having anything to do with personal hygiene.
