The bottle of listerine I have (Cool Mint) lists an alcohol content of 21.6 percent, equivalent to 43 proof. So if you were to, say make yourself a screwdriver with 54% Russian vodka (normally 80 proof) and 46% orange juice that would be an equivalent proportion of alcohol by volume.
I don't know the alcohol content of Listerine but depending upon the size of the bottle assuming you even hold down the contents of that bottle you could get drunk and/or throw up. Also, due to its disinfectant qualities it's quite likely you'll start killing your gut flora, the most likely result of which is a nasty bout of diarrhea. And you would, according to the label:
"Kill germs that cause Bad Breath, Plaque & the gum disease Gingivitis"
:-)
However, that effect may be quite temporary since any passage of stomach contents other than Listerine through your mouth by vomiting might reintroduce some of those bacteria you just got rid of.

Funny you should ask. I was walking to a Walgreens one night, and I saw a bum puking his guts out on the street corner. When I got to that corner, it smelled good... there was an empty Listerine bottle in the street. When I got to Walgreens, I told the lady behind the counter- "That's what you get for stealing mouthwash..."
So, that's what happens if you drink a whole bottle of Listerine.

I drank like two capfuls of listerine last night, and freaked out cuz on the back it said if it's swallowed call poison control. But I was fine. You'll probably puke and it'll be over.

probably would end up vomiting most of the day... won't kill ya but it would burn like hell its nasty enough going in I couldn't begin to imagine tasting it in reverse...

ummmm why would you do that its gross!!! you'd probably get really sick as it contains some pretty strong ingredients! i wouldnt if i were you!
