Throw a blazer over it with either beat up jeans or neutral earth tone khakis. Love the Chuck Taylor shoe idea...

You could wear jeans if you are just doing errands. Or maybe a jean skirt...khaki pants/skirt...black pants/skirt. Too keep from the "way too girly" look maybe stay away from any more frills like lacey pastel pieces.

You can wear it with Jeans and nice looking closed toe flat shoes (kinda like tennis shoes) from traffic or bakers to match they should have shoes to match that shirt in traffic
