Reason # 37 why I don't drink anymore, ever !

A person who likes to sing, doesn't need to be drunk to sing Karaoke at a bar-or any where else for that matter!

I'll sing out loud when I'm happy or busy doing my work.
Try it sometime.
It is a great stress reducer and really lifts your spirits higher.

Just once. I was on a road trip with some co-workers, and it was my birthday. After several beers, a co-worker said he would sing if I would. So we flipped a coin, I had to go first. He threw the song book on the floor, and what ever page was open was used, then we flipped a coin onto the page and it landed on Money for Nothin by Dire Straits. So I went up and tried to sing, wasn't good! Then I came back and he flipped a coin onto the same page, and it landed on I Am Woman. He wussed out and wouldn't do it, so I made him pay the $120 tab for all the booze.

Yeah, I'm a little embarassed to admit it. I sang karaoke a few months ago at an Irish Pub. Me and two other chicks did American Pie and Baby Got Back.....and then I danced on stage to Ice Ice Baby....let's just hope that never happens again.

Karaoke is my regular Friday night thing. But it does help to have a wee bit of the sauce.

Evanescence - Breathe

I stopped in the middle of the song. I left. I sang this song over and over before this experience in memory of a relationship that crumbled ..echoing ache with no one to hear my cries. When I noticed that everyone there was watching me...It gave me an eerie feeling...that no one was having fun...they were just entertained by my sorrow.

I actually won a contest. Woke up the next morning with a little trophy and everything. Had no idea what it was for until I read the engraving on the bottom.
