I had a 9:00 AM appointment with my doctor that morning - OF ALL MORNINGS - and knew nothing about any of it until 40 minutes later when I went to the hospital next door for x-rays. When I went to the reception desk, I was totally ignored and I asked the lady what was her problem. She just stared at me and pointed to the television set in the waiting area. I thought some kind of disaster/horror movie was being shown until I realized people around me were screaming and running in all directions.
