I respect your opinion for hating Cena but do you really hate Cena. Who do you really hate, Cena fans or Cena himself? Do you really hate a person for what he is assigned to do? Or do you hate the people who like him?

Some don't like him because girls think he is good looking. Some don't like him because he has a limited move set. Some don't like him because of his hip-hop gimmick. Some don't like him because they feel he has been pushed down our throats too much. Some don't like him because his interviews sometimes seem like Rock ripoffs. There's probably plenty of other reasons not to like him. Of course, there are also a lot of fans that do like him, and it would appear that, more often than not, they outnumber those that don't. I used to not care for him, but I do now. The guy works hard. It's not about wrestling anymore, Austin was a punch-kick wrestler late in his career after his neck injury, Rock wasn't much better. Cena is NOT cocky, he's a real down to earth wrestler that is willing to do whatever he can. He tries is all I can say, which is more then Batista will do.

I am not a Cena fan because I don't have respect for his in ring performance. I'm not saying that he is the worst I have ever seen but at the level he is at he certainly is in the bottom two or three in my book.
But to be fair, it bugs me more that wrestlers like Cena and Batista with limited in ring skills are main eventers while great wrestlers like Benoit and Chavo are sitting as mid card wrestlers. But that I can't blame on Cena. Obviously Vince is going to push either people he likes or people that the crowd cheers the most for.
Now to give Cena his props, he does have good mic skills. The crowd seems to enjoy his promos and I respect that. Personally I find his gimick really cheesey going from the white rapper to the marine bull crap. That's just me. But the thing I hate is when people compair Cena's personality and promos to that of The Rock. Sorry, but The Rock was was the best personality of this generation and his gimick was something that fans really havn't seen before. If you ask me, compairing The Rock to Cena on personality is like compairing Kurt Angle to HHH. They both are very good, but it is two completely different things. The Rock was a pure tallent (Kurt Angle) while Cena is just popular (HHH).
