I found Vince Young winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year, well... offensive. He won the award because of hype rather than performance. Cut through the media rubbish and state your "Real Offensive Rookie of the Year."

I think the next three guys in line for the award are the Chargers McNeill OT, Colts Joseph Addai RB and Jags Maurice Jones-Drew RB. Then maybe you can put Saints Marcus Colston and Reggie Bush on the list

Why McNeill? Simply the majority of LT's running yards came from the left side, Philip Rivers was well protected the entire season, McNeill deserves some props

Vince Young. He was the best. Brought a team back from 0-5 to 8-8. A team that has won 9 games in 2 seasons. That's a giant step. Who else could compare to him. Reggie Bush? Reggie was good, but the rest of the team carried him to the playoffs. Reggie did not deserve the award. Vince was amazing in the most of his games, while Reggie was only good in 1 or 2 games. Vince Young deserved the award more then any of the others.

Vince Young led the Titans to 8 victories, double from the previous year as a rookie qb, which is the most difficult position for a first year player. Your question is what is offensive sir. Yes Bush, Colston, Addai, etc had great years, but qb is without a doubt the most crucial position in football and to have a first year player double the teams win total from the year before is extremely impressive.

Vince Young did well this season but I felt like Colston or Drew Jones should have won it. I think the only reason they didnt win was because they were not as high a draft pick as Young.

Vince Young led the Titans to some pretty good victories along with some good come from behind finishes. I think he definitely deserved the ROY.

Well, let's see...

Marques Colston, Jericho Cotchery, Matt Leinart, just off the top of my head. But I believe the real winner should have been:

Maurice Jones-Drew

He had a heck of a season and it was a shame that ANY of these other guys didn't get the award. I completely agree with you, Young winning was a JOKE!!! His season and numbers were MARGINAL AT BEST. He in no way, shape, or form earned that award. All of these guys had better seasons.

Go Cardinal! Go Niners!

In my opinion, Vince Young deserved the OROTY Award. No he didnt throw for 4,000 yards or 30 Touchdowns...or ran for 1,000 Yards like Michael Vick but he did the one thing he has been doing his whole football career.....HE WON GAMES.....He made all the throws he needed to make he got all the first downs he needed to convert......and also he made it to the Pro Bowl his rookie year and the scary thing is that he is only gonna get better.

I thought it should have easily been Maurice Jones Drew. Vince Young played OK for not even half of a season and he wins ROY honors? I don't think so.

Vince Young. I know he didn't play in every game, but what 10 or more of them. He led the horrible Titans to an 8-8 season, he won games at the end single-handedly, and your right, he is the most popular and he has all the hype.

Good for him cause he deserves it.

Maurice Drew or Marques Colston. Both players had huge impacts offensively on their respective teams. Big numbers and big impact.
