No, it would definately not make the world a safer place. It would do quite the opposite, it would make it a lot more dangerous. If Iran has a lot of nuclear weapons and goes to war, then they could use them and risk a nuclear genocide destorying the whole world. Nuclear weapons have never made anything safe.
