Contact the local post office to you and ask them which sorting office you come under. With so much profits from Royal Mail they shut a lot and put more pressure on more central sorting offices so it could be a few. But your local post office will know which sorting office delivers your letters.

Just enter Royal Mail into google and you will find a list of addresses including the one for your local sorting office, alternatively ask your local postman who will tell you.

Go online you will find the number there alternatively contact royal mail via telephone book or 118 118 they will give you the free phone number for royal mail who will give you the telephone number for the sorting office in that area.

God gave you a brain to use so why not apply common sense and use it. Think for yourself, you never know when you need to do this is case of an emergency.

Ring any post office in the phone book, or ask your local post office.
If you really want to, send youself a letter with no stamp on it.
You will get a card asking you for £1.23 in fees, the card will tell you where the sorting office is.
P.s. just throw the card away - you are not obligated to pick it up or pay it.
