predeterminism, although popular in 18th century religious philosphy, probably doesn't hold water with most people today. One of the great moral questions was- if it is already decided who is going to heaven or hell, then why act right while here? Of course the predeterminists answered it this way- the evidence of your being heaven bound is the way you act on earth... Meanwhile, heaven and hell aside, if everything truly is pre-determined, than no, I don't think it is immoral to live a heathenistic lifestyle- seeking only personal gain. Because, if it is pre-determined, one truly has no choice.
The of course, what of free will? The argument for predeterminism states that temporal existence is bound to a causal chain of events. The initial conditions, according to predeterminism, issued forth this chain necessarily according to a predetermined set of universal laws. Advocates of predeterminism claim this predetermined set of universal laws is science itself. In effect, what this argument amounts to is the idea of a first cause.

It would be okay. Everything will be okay. If everyone has a destiny, than their destiny is set to be whatever they choose it to be, and whatever they choose to do is their destiny. So there is a degree of free will. I don't believe that understanding the meaning of destiny makes one so great that they should become cocky.
The best advice: let the past be past, let the future stay in the future, and live the best you can in the present.

even if everything that happens is destiny,,,, you wouldnt know what is going to happen, so how would you alter your behavior? if you mean see into the future and see a future destiny,,, then altering something,,,, that thing altered might be what caused the future,,,, so yes its a confusing mess, lol,,,
to me, destiny often is more general, in a sense i seemed to know i was destined to have a daughter, i felt this,,,,,,, and i did have a daughter, not at a time or with the person i thought i would,,,,

whatever happens, happens. How you act, if you choose to recognize it or change your behavior in anyway. If your aware of your destiny then its not ignorance its acceptance.
Sit back and enjoy the ride. Well, that's if you believe in destiny.

If destiny were fact then it would be our destiny to alter our behavior and suffer the consequences.

personally i don`t believe destiny. I think we are created not as a doll. We have freedom to do what we want to do. Sometimes there are something happen to our life without our permission. But that`s life! I think that`s the magic of life. Full of surprise and miracle. Shortly, destiny can`t tied people.

Life is like the placebo effect. It is based on your belief system(B.S.) If you believe it is based on destiny, then you experience it as a victim. If you believe your choices determine your experience then you experience it as "having free will". Of course there is the space between these points of view where we "flip flop" our entire lifetime.
We are destined to experience our life as we perceive it.

There is no such thing as destiny.
Destiny means that god knows what will happen, but doesnt
mean god wants something to happen.
Its free will...!!!!
