I am sure they read every Ann Coulter book as well as a wide variety of books telling them exactly how evil liberals are.

Oh and first respondent I do the same thing with Rush Limbaugh, that is why I like listening to him and Fox News.

We read. I like to peruse a lot of sites like Yahoo, Msn, Fox, AJC to name a few. Here is a good example. I read about Dingy Harry's new legislation to remove the then authority that congress had given the president to protect the interest of the United States. He wants to give up. No matter you look at it he wants to give up and is looking for some way to do it. You don't need anyone else to say preach this. It is plain an simple he wants to give up. A lot of conservatives get information this way and pay attention to what is going on.

The contrary is the case for Liberals. Take the statement 'Bush Lied', I have seen it in many places including this forum. However, I rarely see such things as 'Bush lied about blah blah blah and the proof is blah blah blah'. This is nothing more than being a lemming.

What I really find fascinating, is when having a discussion between a lib and a con the lib will almost always resort to personal attacks. Can you explain that?

While I'm not going to be pigeon-holed into "neoconservative", Great Expectations (last book I read at all was Ephesians, but GE was the last one I read from cover to cover). But what's so superior about political books over radio talk shows or TV political shows? In one someone's giving you facts and opinions in written form and in the other they're using their voice. Big difference.

the version is that MSNBC would not call those shows "information shows," while Fox does, each and all of the day long, with out differentiating that O'Reilly, Beck and Hannity at the instant are not information on a similar time as the different shows (e.g., Fox interior the Morning) are meant to be information, yet of direction are on no account. In different words, on Fox all of it runs mutually and pretends to be information while that is no longer. MSNBC makes it clean what's information and what isn't. additionally, you factor out that Morning Joe isn't present day, so the place is the counterpoint on Fox? Why do no longer they have a coach with somebody who isn't spectacular-wing?

How self serving do you get? You form your question as if you really expect an unbiased answer. You make a political statement but disguise it as a clever question . You are as clever as a slug. Why don't you take your anger elsewhere. What difference does it make whether Republicans read books or not? Do you propose that only well read people should be heard? Why don't you tell us about the recent "Mother Goose" book that you read?

That's a pretty big generalization. I am a Republican & read often. Trade magazines for my business, the bible, sometimes I even like a good trash novel; most recently I am reading When the Enemy Strikes by Charles Stanley (Christian book). I am sure that there are some Republicans that do not like to read as there are Dems that don't read also. You saying this is like me saying all Democrats can do is sling grade school insults. Thanks for your question & have a nice day!

I have read AL Gores book,I have read Al Frankens books and I have read many right wing books. So yes,I look at boths sides before basing my opinion..,and this past democrat has changed parties because it seems the liberal democrats can only call names and take people to court when the outcome of an election doesn't turn out in their favor.

I don't listen to Limbaugh or Ingraham. I listen to rock 'n' roll or sprots talk radio. I watch all the different news outlets. O'Reilly's "No Spin Zone" is a crock, but it's no more disgusting than any of the other nets, especially NBC News. They are horribly biased to the left. No doubts about it.

last book: The Art Of Happiness, Dalai Lama

Of course they read books....

...whenever (and whichever) they are told to by radio talk show hosts for the Fox network.

Yes they read books.

Unfortunately the reason you are having problems debating them is because they are using facts. Maybe you should try picking your next book from the non-fiction section.
